Vacation Day 1
We left home at 8 am and headed to Minn. The plan was to get as close to Minneapolis as possible and then find a motel. Grace was so good in the car that we made it all the way there by 3:30! We stopped twice along the way to run and play at parks. After checking into a hotel directly across the street from Mall of America we went swimming. Tonight we went to the mall and visited Lego World and ate at the Rainforest Cafe.

Grace, I can't believe you saw SpongeBob. That is so cool! And built legos too?? You must be having a fun vacation! Tell your mommy and daddy that Derek was at the mall too yesterday around noon. Wouldn't that have been funny running into each other there?

We're glad you were a good traveler for your mom and dad. Sounds like you had a fun day. Did Sponge Bob sing his song about living under the sea in a pineapple? Know you will keep having fun once you get to Duluth. Wave hello to the big lake for your nana and papa.
