First Bow!

Grace finally has enough hair that I was able to put a tiny bow in her hair. It lasted about two min. before it came out. I guess we'll stick to headbands and hats for a while longer...

Ride 'em Cowboy!

Saturday night Gracie, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Grandpa, Uncle Andy, and Aunt Lindsay went to Skeeter Barnes to eat. We celebrated Daddy and Aunt Lindsay's birthdays. Gracie got to ride the saddle bar stool.

Our Little Hockey Star

Daddy got Gracie a little hockey stick at the Goodwill. She and Daddy hit balls around the living room. Grace is teething and just prefers to chew on the stick. Maybe hockey isn't her sport...

New Swimming Pool

Gracie got her first baby pool. We tested it out last weekend and she loved it. An added bonus is the grass! As you can see in the middle photo she likes playing with the grass as much as the toys in the pool! Ahh the simple joys in life!

Can You Say DIVA?!!

Here's a test in patience... paint the tiny toe nails of an 8 month old while she kicks her feet. It's well worth the challenge! She gets many compliments on her beautifully well manicured toes!

First Zoo Trip

Grace had her first trip to the zoo on Saturday. We walked in a fundraiser walk for the CF Foundation with Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Andy, Grammy and Grandpa. It was a beautiful day!

Why Do I Bother With A Bib?

I'm not sure why I bother putting a bib on her. She gets her baby food everywhere. She only seems to spit it out when her head is turned so it goes all over her sleeves or the carpet. I now have a plastic tarp I'm going to put under her when we feed her.

What a Mess

What a mess! Grace was sitting in her bouncy seat on the counter while I put groceries away Thursday night. I made the mistake of setting the new bottle of Dorothy Lynch Dressing next to her. It was in a plastic bottle so I figured she couldn't hurt it. She chucked it across the kitchen and it exploded EVERYWHERE! Here are two photos that show some of the damage. Dressing went all over the fridge {and all over inside the fridge since I had the fridge open to put groceries away}, all over the stove, microwave, walls, cupboards, dishwasher, window, ME, and worst of all the ceiling. Jacob was up on the ladder scrubbing the ceiling and I cleaned the kitchen for almost an hour. I had to take everything out of the fridge and wipe it all down. Not exactly what I had planned for my Thursday evening...

My New Ball Pit

Mommy and I go to Baby Sign Language Class every Sunday afternoon. This week they had a ball pit for us to play in. I loved it!

My friend Jonah played in it too. He is 8 days younger than me. His mommy and my mommy taught together last year. Jonah's mommy got pregnant first but I beat him coming out so I'm older. We live 2 blocks apart and get to see each other every Sunday at Sign Language class.

Mommy got a gift card to Target for her birthday. She used it to buy me this ball pit for our house since I liked the other one so much. Sometimes my kitty Tabby likes to get in the ball pit with me.

First Tooth

We see evidence of Gracie's first tooth coming in. It's on the bottom on her left. You can feel it and see just the tip peeking through the gums.
