Things I Never Thought I'd Say...

Here are some things I've said in the last 24 hours that I never would have said before having a child...
1. Stop crying... Your milk is on the toilet!
2. Why is Tabby's {our cat's} face pink and green?
3. Don't eat Elmo's fur... It's yucky!
4. Keep your hands out of your poop!
5. We don't ride on Tabby!

The best one...
6. Mommy loves you!

P.S. It was sidewalk chalk on Tabby's face.

Grace's first pinata!!!

We went to the Adams end of the year party and Grace got to experience her first pinata. Mainly she just wanted to eat the one sucker she found on the ground!

I Love My Papa!

Lincoln Children's Zoo

"Come on Mommy!"
Turtles
"Hissing Cockroaches... Not in your dreams am I touching that, Lady!"
"A bunny... okay I'll touch that!"

Evening at the Lake!

On Saturday evening we visited some friends who were camping at Branched Oak Lake. We spent the evening cooking hotdogs over the campfire, playing lawn games, climbing trees and overall enjoying a beautiful evening outdoors.
Grace learned that hotdogs can be cooked somewhere other than the microwave.
Daddy taught Grace that trees are for climbing!
Grace's buddy Dylan shared his tree with Gracie.
We definitely want to do some camping with Grace. This evening adventure was a great intro to the wild outdoors.

Sprinkler Video

Here's a video of Grace running through the sprinkler!

First Sprinkler Run!

It was so hot today that we got out the sprinkler and let Grace run through it. She was unsure about it at first but quickly figured out the fun!

Cute!

Fun Night

Gracie got to go to Fun Night {Carnival Night} at Mommy's school. She got a roll of tickets and was off...
She picked out this particular tattoo because it was an 'o'... she is obsessed with the letter 'o'.

One of my students, Kate, helped her in the bouncy house.
She was supposed to pick one duck from the duck pond but obviously doesn't understand the concept of one yet. Grace had a good time and got her fill of sugar!

My New BFF!

Mommy's second cousin is a single mom and in the service. She is gone for a while to do some training so we get to help take care of her little girl Bourbyn. Grace has loved having a playmate and they get along so well. Thursday night they played outside in the sandbox and then took a bath together. They had a BLAST!
