Seeing Eye Dogs

Tonight at HyVee Grace and I saw a man with a seeing eye dog. That led to a lengthy discussion about what it means to be blind and why the dog is with him. A few minutes later Grace says, "If my eyes ever get broken maybe Sampson {My brother's dog} can help me and go to school with me." This is only funny if you know my brother's dog and know how unintelligent he is!! I told Grace Sampson would have to go to A LOT of doggie school to learn how to be a good helper dog!

Messy Girl

Grace hates being messy so we are trying to encourage her to take risks! She had fun! I love her laugh at the beginning of this video!!

Belly Buttons

Tonight I told Grace, "Your belly button is so cute!" She told me, "Your belly button is SO BIG!"

Gracie and Gracie

On Friday Gracie {the kid} went to visit our friend Val and her dog, who is also named Gracie. Gracie {the kid} got to go swimming in Val's pool and apparently was really tired because she fell asleep on the floaty raft and slept for an hour. They also got to feed horses and Gracie {the dog} found a small snake by the pond. I think both Gracies enjoyed the day!

Future Teacher

Grace went with me to my classroom tonight to put some supplies away. She rearranged my chairs and stools and pretended to be the teacher! So cute....

Then she sharpened all my pencils! Free child labor...
