Seeing Eye Dogs
Tonight
at HyVee Grace and I saw a man with a seeing eye dog. That led to a
lengthy discussion about what it means to be blind and why the dog is
with him. A few minutes later Grace says, "If my eyes ever get broken
maybe Sampson {My brother's dog} can help me and go to school with me."
This is only funny if you know my brother's dog and know how
unintelligent he is!! I told Grace Sampson would have to go to A LOT of
doggie school to learn how to be a good helper dog!
Grace, we are glad to see you are planning ahead for any disaster. We certainly hope you never need to have Sampson be your helper dog. I agree with your Mommy that he would need lots of doggie school. NAP
