High Chair Excitement

We got a high chair off Craig's List last weekend. For those of you unfamiliar with Craig's List it's a free website where you can post items you want to sell and people in your town can view the items and call you to buy them. It's like online garage sales! It's fabulous! The high chair is an Eddie Bauer wooden high chair with an adjustable plastic tray! We were super excited and got it for only 60 dollars which is a great deal since I looked at it new for over 200 dollars. We love that it has a gray seat cover so we can use it for a girl or boy since we don't know what we are having yet. We find out June 1st at our next ultrasound. If you haven't voted for the gender yet be sure to do so by June 1st when we reveal if we're having a little Grace Elizabeth or a William John. I think we are safe with William John. It looks like most people are willing to call it "Will" which is the nickname we want. Of course my brother insists he is calling it "Little Willy." He only says that because he knows it will drive the mommy crazy!

14 weeks

As of Friday April 10th Baby and I are 14 weeks along. We completed the first week in our second trimester. Only 26 more weeks to go! I continue to be VERY sick around the clock. My dr. has tried every drug in the book. Occasionally I have to go to the hospital for an IV infusion of fluids, anti-nausea medicine, etc. I usually feel better for a few days after that. I am back up to my pre-pregnancy weight which is good! I had lost some weight the first three months. Even though I haven't gained any weight I am still beginning to show. I have transitioned to maternity pants, which Jacob thinks are amazingly hot! They have a belly band that go all the way up to my chest! He teases me that they look like granny pants! I turned 30 on Wednesday so I guess that's the magic age you switch to old lady pants! Jacob is going to try and take weekly pictures of my growing belly. Here is my baby bump at 14 weeks.
