Grace's Procedure

Grace had a procedure this week at St. Elizabeth Hospital. We are still battling digestive issues that she has had since birth. We have two issues we are attempting to fix. 1. Why does she not handle milk or soy milk? 2. Why does she need Mirilax every day just to poop? The procedure this week was to eliminate the possibility of malformed nerves that transmit signals to her brain to poop. Thankfully the results were normal and THAT isn't the issue. The next step is to gradually introduce Lactaid milk and see if she tolerates it. When she is two years old we will pursue further testing that will determine allergies or intolerances to certain foods. For now we will continue to use Alimentum formula and Mirilax. If it makes her happy and keeps her growing that's all we care about right now!

  1. Ahhh...no fun. Sierra has to go next summer for surgery to remove a cyst she's had since birth. Never fun not knowing and having to go through testing. That being said... Gracie still looks adorable as ever!
