Grace Pictures

We had a little excitement today. I started bleeding overnight {Sunday night} so we went to the dr. today. He confirmed I was bleeding  but couldn't find the source! I can't wait to see how much we pay in dr. fees for that one!! We then went to the hospital for a more thorough exam with an ultrasound...then back to the dr. for the results. It turns out my placenta has partially implanted down by the bottom of my uterus vs. up at the top of my uterus. It's known as placenta previa {spelling?} when it completely covers the bottom of the uterus. My placenta only partially implanted too low. It will cause some bleeding and I have to be really careful not to do too much strenuous activity or lift too much to prevent heavy bleeding. It can sometimes cause complications at birth if the placenta is blocking the opening but the dr. thinks I can still have a vaginal birth. Luckily none of this affects the baby as long as the bleeding stays minimal. She is growing fast and is already 1 lb. 9 ozs. Her head is slightly on the small side but still in the low to normal range while the rest of her body is average or above. I'm fine with a small head in terms of delivery!! We got some cute pics. of her during the ultrasound which I'm posting here too. We got to see her yawn and got a good shot of her feet but she insisted on curling her fingers in front of her face so we never could see her fingers.
