My Monkeys

Grace is on her second banana since dinner! She must be going through a growth spurt! Note the socks and bandaid on the stuffed monkey... Apparently the monkey got cold feet in the night and Grace insisted I come in and put socks on him. So he got socks and we all went back to bed.

My Cutie!

On Saturday Grace and Mommy went to a baby shower for Baby Harper. Grace was such a good girl and looked so pretty!

I asked my friend at Church {Laura Wagner} to make these for Harper. Laura is a master crocheter. Harper wore them Friday night when we went out to eat at Don and Millie's.

Indoor Picnic Supper

We had an indoor picnic supper tonight! So much fun!

Grace's Play Castle

Jacob built Grace this play castle in our basement! Grace loves it. He is finished with the exception of painting the stairs. It is made with 2x4s, drywall, etc. Daddy went all out for his little princess!
Grace has a hard time climbing the stairs and carrying up things so Daddy tied a bucket to a string and she raises and lowers things in the bucket! So much fun!

Easter Sunday

On Sunday we went to church and Grace had another egg hunt with her church friends.

She decided to perform while we waited for the egg hunt to start!

Grace and her baby have matching pajamas that Mommy found on a clearance rack at Von Maur! Too cute to pass up!

Dying Easter Eggs

Saturday evening we dyed Easter eggs. Even Grace's cousin Harper got in on the action. Her shirt says "My Aunt is Awesome!" in honor of her favorite aunt's birthday. {Katrina is her only aunt!}

Grace and Harper each got an Easter basket from Grammy and Grandpa! Spoiled Princesses!

Easter Saturday

On Saturday Grace visited her Great Grandma Davie. The Legacy Retirement Center had an Easter egg hunt.


This year Grace actually got some eggs. Last year she ran out and collected a bucket full of mulch. She was a much better egg hunter this year! She also got to enjoy a cupcake {or at least the frosting off the top}!

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!

Grace LOVES looking for bugs! She and Daddy often check out what is living under the landscaping rocks.
She has a bug net and a magnifying glass!

Eggcellent Dinner

Mommy filled plastic eggs with Grace's dinner. Inside was corn, noodles, pretzels, puffs and banana! What fun!

Mommy's Birthday

Mommy's birthday falls on Easter this year so we celebrated on Sunday April 1st, a week early. Grace took Mommy to The Amazing Pizza Machine in Omaha. It's a pizza buffet with bumper cars, a roller coaster, games, rides, etc. You get the idea... Chuckie Cheese on steroids! There were tons of birthdays going on that day but I bet we were the only ones celebrating a 33rd birthday! Mommy loved it though! Grace got to go bowling and ride the Frog Hopper, which is a ride that shoots up to the second floor and comes back down over and over. She rode it all by herself! She is getting so big!
