Perfectionist
Grace took Mommy to story time at the public library Monday evening. They made trains. All the other toddlers randomly glued train cars on their page. Then there was Grace... Hers had to go in a perfectly straight line and she redid several of the cars if they overlapped too much. Can we say perfectionist? I wonder where she got that trait?

Grace's Christmas Gift
We ordered this for Grace for Christmas. We got it from Walmart and all the reviews say kids LOVE it! I can't wait for Christmas to get here to give it to her! The only thing I'm wondering about is if she'll even know what that old fashioned phone thing is. We only have cell phones and a small cordless phone for a land line. She'll probably look at the phone on a cord and push buttons and wonder what in the world you do with that!

Prayers
Grace LOVES to pray. We pray in the most random places sometimes! Every night she prays at bedtime. Here she is praying on the couch with Mommy. Daryl (our minister) and mimis (pacifiers) get prayed for EVERY night. Everything else randomly gets prayed for.

Cute Photos
Grace at Don and Millies Restaurant on Friday night. Notice she isn't wearing shoes. We haven't been able to get shoes on her for over a month because of her cast and we are out of the habit of putting them on her. We didn't realize until we got to the restaurant that she didn't have any on. Oh well... You can get away with that when you are two!

Bedtime Prayers
Cute story... Last night when I was tucking Grace in we had our normal routine of one book and prayers and then she gets "tucked in". When it was time for prayers she folded her little hands and squinted her eyes shut and said, "Dear God, Thank you for Grant, cheese, and mimi." {Her mimi is her pacifier.} Can you think of a more perfect prayer than that? What else does a two year old need than Grant {her friend who's also 2}, cheese, and a mimi?

Leg Update
Grace got her cast cut off tonight. She was really good at the dr. and they even commented that perhaps they could hire Grace to teach all their little patients how to sit still for cast removals and x-rays. Mama was proud! She got to take a real bath tonight with bubbles and everything! She's been taking showers with a plastic bag over her cast to keep it dry so she was excited to be back to bubble baths! The x-rays showed that her leg is completely healed and straight. She has a little limp from having walked with a cast for over a month but that will go away quickly! We got to keep her cast for a fun memory! It stinks like rotten smelly feet so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet or where to keep it!
